Originally from Minnesota, she began her career as a digital marketing specialist for Minnesota's State Parks and Trails department. She then worked as the International Marketing Lead for Confederation College for two years before starting her own marketing business at the start of COVID in May 2020 as a way to help small businesses get their message out during uncertain times.

Her company is almost 4 years old with a studio downtown PA and a staff of 4. They offer videography, photography, website design, graphic design, and overall marketing services both traditional and online.

Activity:

Brook will showcase the Sociable website and the tools to build a website a similar website. She will also feature Canva, brand kit design, social media algorithms, social media marketing, types of marketing, and what type of skills are needed. I would also showcase some of our videos from our YouTube Channel.

Students could create an ad of their own by drawing and colouring.
